Susannah Marie has a message for those she seeks to inspire…
I’m a Muse; playful, sensual and lots of energy. There’s a fine line between sensual and sexual but nevertheless it is distinct. I apply movement to my poses, graceful moves, I move slowly enough for you to tell me when to stop and I’ll hold the pose.
My body is sculpted and expressive so bring lots of film, photo cards or whatever it is that you use. I have some music to bring with me, if you have some then shoot for slow classical (piano concertos – Chopin) ambient music/world music/tribal music...

Early Monday morning was the time. The location – an urbane apartment building in midtown Atlanta that had brightly painted interiors which caught the light of the sun very well and reflected it brilliantly. I’d visited the apartment about week prior to the shoot and knew it would be perfect for an early morning set. LoisLane and I met the sun in the kitchen and the rest was beautiful. We call her LoisLane because, like Clark Kent, her hidden powers are endless. She is an INCREDIBLY intelligent medical student by day and in her secret identity she’s a soulfully talented Jazz basist....

Nobella makes jewelry. And this all started when I asked Nobella for some jewelry for a fashion shoot. That led to me shooting her for the Pangeas Garden Project, surrounded by her Art and Jewel creations. I then asked her if she wanted to do a shoot for the Portal’s gallery and she said no because she knew the perfect person for it. Nobella of New Orleans introduced me to Nena of New Orleans.
Her strikingly soft beauty wrapped around provocatively wise eyes. Soft spoken & cool, deliberate & alluring, Nena was a walking inspiration. Nobella designed a body jewel to wrap around her....

History takes me back to the basement of our culture
I can’t hide myself anymore
Beneath this so-called of civilized men
The sands of time is what I’ve been made with
The hand of the past may help to lay back relax
If we check it now.
And what you’ve got to do is just take care of
That inner black beauty that shines through
Your melanine tone
And take care of everything you got visible or invisible.
For not so long ago they didn’t love none of us –
At all.
I’d like to tell you something
It’s all about my own thing
Now I know what is sweet
I know what is sweet as sugar cane

“The Artist is Michael Bennett and the Muse is Anomalia Chin. And this is their magic.
For these images, Michael Bennett wanted to shoot in studio trying a little variation on the silhouettes he’d been doing. He appreciated the sense of sensuality in this set and the soft and subdued quality a lot of the captures have. These images are an innovative compositional mix of Anomalia’s hair, overall figure and skin tone. The two of them created some of the most creatively, sensual and passionately glamorous captures in the Garden.
This is just a few of the images and you see more...

If you recall, I did a post a while back about Rainy Days where I talked a little about the idea I had for a picture set for the portal that I didn’t get to take because it was a cloudy, rainy day.
But there was this moment…like…from God, where the sun poked through the clouds. It wasn’t for long; 20 maybe 30 minutes. But it was a blessing. It was moment. And we captured it. There will be a full set on the portal.
Thank you.

Charlisha is a model that I’ve recently spoken to online about joining us in the Garden. A Fashion Merchandising student, Charlisha wants to focus on art and fashion photography as both a model and photographer. Being a lover of art, she wants to use captures to provoke visual stimulations to the mind. She has also ventured into acting. Her beauty has been captured by the likes of Patrick Covington , Kever Conyers III , the KS Collection and B L O P H O T O. You can check out her modeling portfolio here and her photography portfolio here. I look forward to seeing what she chooses...
