“I have been painting for a little over a year now. I didn’t go to an art school or have any formal skill trainings. I have always sketched, but never because I wanted to, only because I knew how. The moment I picked up a paint brush I felt so liberated. I was able to say everything I had always wanted to, but kept bottled up for so long. I decided that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I haven’t put down my brushes since.”
