Radiantz…A lakeside stroll…

People fished the lake where we did this shoot, frequently. I could see why. Its very picturesque. Lush, green, clear and open, the lake was circled on one side with natural walking path. This is where Radiantz and I created most of our captures. She was alternately serious and playful through out the shoot, depending on what we talked about at the time. Initially we’d intended to start shooting around 9 am but did not get started until 11:30 and I was worried about the heat and onlookers but it, all in all it was quite pleasant. PrettyBlak…the body jewel…

Maurice Evans is the photographer and PrettyBlak is the muse. And together they have created some astounding works. Some of the works they created were featured in the blog, the PangaeasGardenProject because I considered their works to be influential and inspirational to the vision here. Within a few brief years, Maurice has established himself as one of the best in the field of Black Art and his works has delighted countless collectors of African-American art. No matter the subject or whether the works...

LoisLane and I met the sun in the kitchen and the rest was beautiful. We call her LoisLane because, like Clark Kent, her hidden powers are endless. She is an INCREDIBLY intelligent medical student by day and in her secret identity she’s a soulfully talented Jazz basist....

Nena…the first captures…

Nobella makes jewelry. And this all started when I asked Nobella for some jewelry for a fashion shoot. That led to me shooting her for the Pangeas Garden Project, surrounded by her Art and Jewel creations. I then asked her if she wanted to do a shoot for the Portal’s gallery and she said no because she knew the perfect person for it. Nobella of New Orleans introduced me to Nena of New Orleans. Her strikingly soft beauty wrapped around provocatively wise eyes. Soft spoken & cool, deliberate & alluring, Nena was a walking inspiration. Nobella designed a body jewel to wrap around her....
