The other day during this photo shoot, someone told me that not everyone can look at themselves in the mirror naked. Now, please, know that I am not talking about porno, or anything sexual; I am speaking on appreciating the skin that you are in.
NO, you may not look like what you see on the cover of the magazines. SHOOT, I DON’T EITHER!!!
I see now that we have began to hide our TRUE selves with our clothes and allowing the clothes to speak for us instead of what we truly are!
We have become scared of what we are, and allow our clothes to say it, creating a state of not knowing who we are, and FEARFUL that others will see it. So, we go buy better and more expensive clothes!
FACE YOURSELF.
I want all of you who are reading this right now to, some time today, in a full length mirror, take off all your clothes and look and appreciate your body for the way it truly is!!! There is so much power and beauty in the skin that you are in!
LOVE IT!!! EMBRACE IT!!! Tell me what you see!
Nudity is nothing to be ashamed of or something that is sexual; it is about confidence and empowerment.
We should all enjoy being naked.
heck, how bout not even looking like the pic posted. Great idea, but that’s gonna be a negative on the full length mirror
I actually did look in the mirror today fully nude. I’ll admit…my body is far from perfection. However, I focused on the things that I admired versus nitpicking on areas that aren’t perfect. I may not have a perfectly round, curvy backside…but I can say that my stomach doesn’t look so bad after 2 kids. I’m still in the process of loving myself fully.
