It’s time to wind down a little this weekend, so I’ve decided I’m going to ”ONE” of my favorite spots…However, let me say first(a really good friend of mine turned me on to this Lounge/Tapas)- a great place by the name of CAFE CIRCA (which was launched in 2008 in the Historic Old 4th Ward District) which surrounds Edgewood Ave & Boulevard .. This is a place for that inspiration of better things to take place…Why do I say that? Well, this restaurant is owned by 2 young black brothers who obviously have a great vision on what an ”urban fine dining” should be. It’s not too much at all with the atmosphere but very EXCITING TO FRIEND OTHER AFRICAN AMERICAN PROFESSIONALS. Wonderful spot for a chat with friends”your sistah girls” or your young business minded/urban fella friends. It sits on a corner in downtown Atlanta. It’s not in the HEART of downtown at all, that’s an A+ for me at least… I’ve patronized this establishment often on Saturdays due to their awesome house band that performs there starting at 11pm. I must speak for the ”On The Other Hand” there is a warning that comes with this oasis:…STOP THE MUSIC!!!!!<< THERE IS NO DANCE FLOOR… Don't get it twisted, don't think you're going to go up in there (because your favorite Neo-Soul track just hit the surround sound) that you're going to get up and start dancing. Nope, sit in your chair or stand up and JUST hunch your shoulders…. I told you I wanted to "Wind Down" and that's what it will do for you/ Now for the "Also" I must admit if you're not an understanding person and can't tolerate the "You Fancy Huh" girls and guys THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!! No she or He is not better than you AT ALL.. Just a little more confidant in a different way that you maybe. Or a little more "Reserved" than you. But don't let that stop your class! Because that's how you should have walked up in there too.Let's not trip- I'm a Loud one! Not over done! If you're not feeling the need to "cut loose" and just want Great food and MARVELOUS drinks, soothing music then stop in!! It's not a Club it's a huge "Social Gathering" don't be scared go test out your "Grown Waves".. are you 25 or so and you're suck in that fast popping and hopping at the same "Local Club" since 19? We're not talking about Club Opera and the Mansion we're speaking of a SMALL setting where people can hear your mummers just above the music(NO SCREAMING REQUIRED) Nothing's over bearing!! Get OUT the Box People!!Get it Together and try it out!!
