When I began Pangea’s Garden, I was told about the World Natural Hair Show. At the time it was just a blog and I was simply exploring my own interest of capturing images of natural beauty. I missed the opportunity to attend the WNHS that first time and came to regret it. Not then, but [...]

Week 2 Elevated Fitness Week 2
Food: Eating 4 to 6 meals a day
Do you know how many times a sumo wrestler eats?
The average daily intake of calories for a man is 3000-3500. A sumo wrestler consumes 20,000 calories a day, split between two very large meals of 10,000 calories each. By sleeping after a meal of 10,000 calories a sumo wrestlers body is able to process them slowly for storage (as fat). http://www.intermartialarts.com/article/sumo-wrestler-diet
So if a Sumo wrestler eats 2 times a day to gain weight, that slows down the metabolism, what should you be doing to raise your metabolism? The body needs to eat something every 2.5 to 3 hours. What should you eat? Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner of course and 2 snacks in between. Fruits, veggies, nuts, and shakes and bars are a great way to have your snacks and also get your metabolism cranking!!
Elevate: Make what you want to see a movie
Today I want you to dream. I want you to dream about your new body. What does it look like? What do you wear? What do you go do? Make a movie about you going out on the town then vacation, and sex with your new body! What things do you do that are different. Create the movie in your head write it down on a place where you will enjoy. I want you to enjoy this! Have fun! See this movie in your head all the time! At night before bed and when you wake up see your movie. Enjoy your movie and live in your movie. Go on. Have some fun!!!

Welcome to your 90 day challenge. I have developed this workout to take care of your physical, mental, heart, and food. I like for you to start off your program with theses starter exercises. I look forward for your feedback.

Food: H20, Take all goal setting food out of kitchen
Water is the ground of your program. Water helps.
Transports nutrients and oxygen into cells
    Moisturizes the air in lungs
    Helps with metabolism
    Protects our vital organs
Helps our organs to absorb nutrients better
    Regulates body temperature
    Detoxifies
    Protects and moisturizes our joints
    Muscle consists of 75% water
    Brain consists of 90% water
    Bone consists of 22% water
    Blood consists of 83% water

Water is what your body is made of. So water is how you go forward. Every cell in your body needs water from head to toe. That is why it is so important to drink enough fluids. For example, your brain consists of 90% water, if you do not supply enough water to your body, your brain cannot function well, and you will get headaches or migraines. Hence, next time, if you feel fatigued and headaches, it may be the sign of dehydration.

Taking the food that do not support your goal out of your cabinets will help you move forward. This is the time to make your goal real. The foods that do not belong in your cabinets, closets or cupboard need to go. Do not purchase them again. All foods within your house need to support your goal. Your goal is important and so the food that you put in your body is great.
    Elevate: Vision Board/ Goal date
You can’t hit a target you cant see you can’t see a target you don’t have- Zig Ziglar

What is a vision board? A vision board is a board where you put your pics that motivate you and shows what you want to accomplish on your wall. These pics must motivate you and also, encourage you. Put these pictures in a place where you will see it and be motivated on a daily basis.
Goal date- lets sate a date. Set a date on something that is reasonable to accomplish and also something that you know you can do. To find what your goal should be go in a room and meditate, ask your self what should your goal be.
