This past Saturday Night was Spread Love’s annual Felabration party. This party is a celebration of the music and life of Fela Kuti . This Felabration was special because the musical FELA ! was here in Atlanta that week, and it was the 10th anniversary of Rich Medina’s Jump N Funk Party . On Sunday evening I went over to Social Resto to check out this months installment of Sunday School. This was a special night because it was Dj Salah Ananse’s birthday party. In this sequel to Curves and Locs at the Apache Cafe & Lounge I experimented with the images a bit, working on different approaches for digital illustration that I’ve been contemplating for while.
