A pictorial moment of the images Beauty and I sought to capture on that overcast day. I wish we could have done more but I think these final few works portray the feel I wanted to portray.

If you recall, I did a post a while back about Rainy Days where I talked a little about the idea I had for a picture set for the portal that I didn’t get to take because it was a cloudy, rainy day.
But there was this moment…like…from God, where the sun poked through the clouds. It wasn’t for long; 20 maybe 30 minutes. But it was a blessing. It was moment. And we captured it. There will be a full set on the portal.
Thank you.

Meeting her by chance was truly a treasure. Tai will be one of the models for the new web portal we are building which will launch in midJuly. We are still working on concepts for her images. Any ideas?

A new photographer looking to do some creative shoots. Caught in a moment, here, by a fellow photographer who happened to be testing his brand new light.
Beautiful.

I met her on my birthday a few years ago…smiling & sassy.
She’s a youngun’ who never took me seriously but she could tell me stories, just about her life, that inspired me to create new myths and art of my own. Talented in her own right she’s always been great muse.
She creative (always making things) and she loves life. I am always uplifted when I’m around her.
I wanted to capture her surrounded by her creations and I asked her to say something about herself and work. Took her FOREVER. And then she sent me this…

“You really think brothas are intimidated by your locs and that’s the reason they don’t step to you?”
“Yes, Vincent. I am sure of it.”
That was the beginning of a polite conversation that, for me, led to an exploration.
I was on this thing called a date; something that I don’t see a lot of folks doing anymore and kids don’t appear to be doing at all. I was
with a beautiful and intelligent dark-skinned sister with dreadlocs. As was typical between us, she was impeccably dressed and perfectly accented while I did my best to not make her look bad. She’s...
