It’s not unusual for people to express an interest in cultivating the Garden nor is it atypical for those of here to reach out. We want everyone interested to join us and we actively seek out folks whose works and activities would be great features here. In the Atlanta, we had a couple of informal get-togethers. We called them Pangea Meet & Greets and we were able to find a couple of unique locales to host these gatherings, this summer. One of the locations is a beautiful waterfall that I did not know about but earthSista SUCCESS, Pangea’s Fitness Guru, discovered. The other is...

Click. As Nobella painted earthSista Aya in preparation for our photoshoot, I captured the process and thought about what I could say about the origins of these images we were about to create. I wondered what you would want to know. Click. Sometime ago I approached Aya joining us in the Garden. Her extraordinary naptual beauty had caught my eye and her vegan lifestyle had piqued my curiosity. I would come to find out that she is one of the Raw Revolutionaries whose “mission is to provide informative delicacies that promote a healthy raw vegan lifestyle in assisting people with their journeys…

Against a backdrop of graffiti art, untamed urban vegetation growing wildly over chain-link fences, earthSistas Chadoe and Nfinite enjoyed the creation of the debut image set of earthSista Sincere. Maybe “enjoyed” is too strong a word, because, there was a great deal of work involved and the sun was pretty hot.
But it was fun. The scene and the earthSista were both inspiring and the captures was fabulous, to say the least. The images from the shoot will premiere in the Garden in a couple of days. In the meantime, we thought these images of the behind-the-scenes shenanigans were worth...

“When you live your life with an appreciation of coincidences and their meanings, you connect with the underlying field of infinite possibilities.”
Deepak Chopra
That thought fits today. About a week ago, we were all having our weekly Pangea earthSista meeting. And the typical chaos ensued where we there is approx. a dozen men & women having about six ongoing conversations at any given time. It seems very disorganized from the outside looking in but its not. It organic and distracted, sometimes straying away from the path our communal vision, yet always making our way back. The...

Early in the summer, Kirei Na wrote a feature on RepJA’s fashions here in the Project. It was a very hot day and yet it didn’t seem to matter. It was an absolutely fun shoot. Jewelry and crochet fashion designer Tara Baker was on set with her video camera, capturing the Behind-The-Scenes.
RepJA is known for its use of Caribbean and American influences to create edgy styles that are the trendsetting fashions in dancehall and American culture. Their distinct creations are affordable and readily available online. RepJA, which began as an a unique dancehall clothing line, has...

Dotting the “i”s and crossing the “t”s … its coming along a little slower than I want but it happens at its own pace…the right pace and the right time…
The images, as you can see, are fierce. The words…thought-provoking. Get ready because its coming, really soon.
