pgp098: Beauty in sensuous blue…

A pictorial moment of the images Beauty and I sought to capture on that overcast day. I wish we could have done more but I think these final few works portray the feel I wanted to portray. pgp089: a pictorial moment from God…

If you recall, I did a post a while back about Rainy Days where I talked a little about the idea I had for a picture set for the portal that I didn’t get to take because it was a cloudy, rainy day. But there was this moment…like…from God, where the sun poked through the clouds. It wasn’t for long; 20 maybe 30 minutes. But it was a blessing. It was moment. And we captured it. There will be a full set on the portal. Thank you. pgp084: Behind the scenes with PrettyBlak & Maurice…

A while back, I created an entry where I mentioned that I was impressed by the works of the artist Maurice Evans and his muse PrettyBlak. So impressed that I asked them if they would be interested in participating in the Garden. They said yes and proceeded to create a fabulous collection of images that are works of art in themselves. They will be a part of the launch of the portal slated for later this month. In the meantime check out these images of from behind the scene. PrettyBlak is a model and you find her here. Check out the works of Maurice here and here. Bookmark on Delicious Digg...

pgp082: the one that got away…

Nightly… I worked with her on a shoot for another web portal and, along with the shots for that portal, we did a few more. I’d hope she would join us in on our portal because she has the ability to create some really intense imagery and I had more that a few ideas to work with her own. Maybe someday… ’til then… a couple of images from our sets. pgp080: PG News….LeiCole, the Garden’s Poet Laureate

My favorite poet… I have known her LeiCole for twenty years and I have got to tell time must fly when you are having fun because it definitely does not seem as if it has been that long. Creative, intensely thoughtful, measured and quite beautiful, she is, in many aspects, a living dream. (I know she’s laughing as she reads that but it is true.) She is a writer. And back in the day I was moved by some of her verse to create works of art. Now she flips it and has created verse for images in the Garden. She has also taken an interest in in interviewing some of the models in the Garden...

pgp076: rainy days…

It rained at Mas Camp. I’ve talked about this place several times before but It may be shutting its doors soon and there were so many spots I wanted to shoot in that I never got a chance too. I was fortunate enough to have a model who would come with me and it had been so hot and sunny for so many days that I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to create a new set for the portal. I wanted to do the shoot in the kitchen of this joint. The windows had been painted blue and when the sun hit them it creates a very artsy, very dramatic feel on the images. But you need a lot of sun for a...
