Artistic. Creative. Beautiful. Influential. Sexy. Ambitious. Talented. Fearless.
In front of the camera, B. Breezy is that fashion diva that demands attention. And there is absolutely nothing you can do but to give. Petite and demure up close but positive, explosive and daring is what she brings to the shoot and gives to the camera. She doesn’t hold back because she doesn’t have to. Her passion is fashion photography and every efforts she makes is designed to create that provocative image that takes your experience of it to the next level. Whether she is behind or in front of the camera,...

Pigeons chirped quietly overhead while trains passed by very slowly in the distance, coming to a stop. Kudzu wrapped around urban trees and fences. Concrete squares and loose wooden boards (that were probably pulled from inside the factory warehouse-turned-art studios) spontaneously peppered nature’s grounds. The exterior walls of the converted building were splattered with intermittent graffiti masterpieces that changed on an irregular basis. And it was here that the earthSista Sincere’s first captures were created.
Accompanied by her love, earthSista Chadoe and earthSista/Photographer...

Dexter SirReal Jones’ works are a visual party. He has this habit of taking everything (the model, the environment, the surrounding accessories, the fashion, the make-up, everything!) and juxtapositions it all in unconventional ways. He does it with a purposeful manner, creating Hip Hop interpretations of fashion and glamour, breaking the limits the status quo for those styles . His recognition of the the unique beauty of the Afrosensual is evident in his works and he has this uncanny ability of portraying it in ways we’ve never seen before.
Pangea has a new voice today: Fashion &...

Against a backdrop of graffiti art, untamed urban vegetation growing wildly over chain-link fences, earthSistas Chadoe and Nfinite enjoyed the creation of the debut image set of earthSista Sincere. Maybe “enjoyed” is too strong a word, because, there was a great deal of work involved and the sun was pretty hot.
But it was fun. The scene and the earthSista were both inspiring and the captures was fabulous, to say the least. The images from the shoot will premiere in the Garden in a couple of days. In the meantime, we thought these images of the behind-the-scenes shenanigans were worth...

Eshe is many things. A singer, dancer, rapper, songwriter, mother and member of Arrested Development. She recently branched out on her own to embark on her solo career. Pangea was in the building for her video release party back in October, and we had a blast. We’ve decided to share our captures and her video for “Love Sick” with you. I can’t believe Vince sat on these images for this long; we won’t let that happen again, and I’m sure we’ll dig up even more image sets from our archives for you guys.
A little more about Eshe: She’s been touring with...

The Chocolate Obsession is a musical and cultural social experience that is conducted on the first Saturday of every month in Metro Atlanta. Created from the union of Divine Elements and Lemillions Entertainment, the Chocolate Obsession is a collection of artists, dee jays and event planners who have a common love for spoken word, Neo-soul, and rhythm & blues.
The three Original Queens keep it real in part two of their recent visit to the event. The For Real Tho! earthSistas work with KingCliff and Grey to give us a fantastic show. And while checking out this episode, put it on your calendar...

Radically energetic and focused. Colorful and (despite herself) obscenely cool. RenegadeBarbie displayed all of those aspects to her character during our shoot together. In one of the converted factory loft communities in the Atlanta area, a couple of friends of mine opened up their home, allowing us to create this raw and edgy set of captures. The sun peered through windows and blinds and we reflected it back on the Renegade…Barbie because she was The Star. She danced with the shadows and playfully teased the camera. The radical diva displayed her patented in-your-face attitude that has...
