Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall and the Black Vintage Movie Series, Inc. are proud to announce the 2nd Annual Black Vintage Movie Series on June 22, 2013 at the Balzer Theater at Herren's (Home of Theatrical Outfit). The one day event will include a screening of the 1929 classic "Hallelujah" at 3 PM and a screening of the 1940 classic "Broken Strings" at 6 PM, as well as a live performances by local gospel group Anointed Voices, of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

This extraordinary documentary focuses on a group of marginalized, mixed-race Americans, who are phenotypically both multicultural and multiethnic and provides a first-hand account of their experiences in New Orleans, Louisiana.
