This week a new Garden Voice will begin and its focus will be on the fashion and glamour. Called Fashion & Glamour Naturalle, it features the perspective of those in Fashion Culture who are inspired by Naptual and Afrosensual beauty. Our first feature will be the works of Dexter Sir Real Jones. He’s one those “next level” people… you know them, right? They are the ones who can’t help but to take photography to the level of art.

earthSista Sincere debuts her first image set. Her edgy sensuality is captured against artistry of the urban landscape. First we take a peak of the behind the scenes as earthSistas Chadoe and Nfinite are there with her create captures of this extraordinary moment.

The hangout spot for the Garden recently has been the Creative Culture Collective. The vibe, the music and the poetry always combine to make for an inspired and passionate escapade. This week we will share a few more captures as well as a taste of the experience.

The artist model Kwentonza will join us in the Garden as well. She is a work of art in her own right and there is so much more to come.

In the meantime, we reminiscence …
several month ago earthSistas Chadoe and Nfinite got together and an effort was made to salvage  Chadoe’s fraying locs. We all met at the Art of Tara and the ladies dressed up in some crochet and then some fun was had with the lights and the camera came out… and the captures below were created. Unfortunately, the locs were a lost cause  and Chadoe sports a beautiful short fro now (look to see it in an upcoming Sunday.) But the captures of the that moment were pretty cool, don’t you think?
