As we get ready for tonight I am reminded of how much fun I have had with earthSistas over the past few months. Since May, we’ve included images from the events and culture of that cultivate the Garden. From the Malcolm X fest to the Funky Ass Party to House in the Park, we’ve enjoyed ourselves and in many cases, the earthSistas have participated in the occurrences we recorded. A few months ago we posted the captures from the Art on the Rooftop Party sponsored by the artist, John Glover. And everyone enjoyed themselves so much that we are back in the same lofts again, this time inside at the JWJ Photography Studio. Its the Pangea@Sunset event and if you are in the Atlanta area, we really hope you can make it out. Site Engineer, KingCliff has been working with the earthSistas and together I am so impressed with the lineup they have planned. Open mic, spoken word, body art and massage all in a warehouse studio. Again, I hope you can make it out.
Anyway, I was thinking about tonight, thinking about the earthSistas and how they bring the room ALIVE just by being there and I had was reminded of that night on the Rooftop…

Pangea @ Sunset set the mark for a “backroom” urban event. It was a well rounded and classy gathering. It just let us know what we can REALLY produce!
