I’ve been having a wonderful back-and-forth with the founder of BlacqueWidowDolls.com, Jinga Willis. She and I both had visions of paying homage to the unique and extraordinary beauty of women of color. And while we take different approaches, it is inspiring to see that we both have no problems breaking through the limitations of a Eurocentric aesthetic to redefine the standards that allows the blesssings we know to be seen by all.
I’ve learned so much from her and she has inspired me in ways she is not even aware of at this point. Soon we will do an interview with her about her site and her vision. In the meantime, this is her homage to ours.
Thanks Jinga!

AWE….Pangea’s Garden….You truly rock my world right now…lol
I and the Blacque Widow Dolls team truly feel that the world needs to view your sensually tastefully built garden. I’m greatful that the universe has brought you to my direction. It has been nothing but peas and carrots between you and I.
I’m honored to have the opportunity of sharing my artistic soul to your lovely company to the point where we enjoy collaborating by displaying the personified beauty of women of color with such style and originality.
Thank you for thinking outside of the box and allowing for me to play with you in your succulent garden.
Best Regards,
Jinga Willis
