UPDATE: DUE TO THE LOGISTICS OF BAD WEATHER FELA’S BEAUTY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY JULY 13 4-8PM

A couple of weeks ago, we featured the FELA-inspired works of  James Petrozello. Inspired by the color and passion of the FELA Broadway Musical and the afrobeats that fuel it, I, along with a few of the earthSistas, created a few images of our own; exploring figure and form and afrosensuality from the afrobeat perspective. It is not the first nor will it be the last time FELA’s influence was felt in the Garden. It was an interesting exercise and, for us, it was only the beginning. We want to share the experience.

On Saturday, July 13 we will create bold, daring, artistic nudes in an intimate setting. This is a Pangea’s Garden Meet & Greet that is intended to be a workshop with open to photographers interested in colorful and creative images of afrosensuality.

With a ratio three photographers for each model, we will create images that pay homage using natural and reflective light along with strobe in the natural and deconstructed settings of the exterior grounds of the Goat Farm for half of the shoot time. The second half will be spent exploring light and color with the use of gels and (possibly) smoke that are designed to create a dramatic, provocative backdrop for the models posing.

If you would like to participate, please take the time to register via Paypal using the link below. This event will take place and we ask that you pre-register so that we can properly prepare for the event and insure that we have enough models in attendance. Look forward to seeing you.
