The video for ‘Let Me’ is the first video that I have created with my continual flow of creative integrity and purpose not being interrupted along the journey from studio to visual. This art peace is the art of my heart!
– The Floacist
The Floacist is Natalie Stewart formerly of the Hip Hop/Neo-Soul group Floetry and she released a sensual music video for her romantically provocative track , “Let Me” a little over a month ago. Pre-dating Timothy Bottom’s recently release, it invokes a similar sense of reverence towards the real and fragile beauty of intimate black love. But the look is little different, The Floacist’s beauty is natural and real and her expression has a genuine intensity about it that is unique to this performance. Check it out.
Back in December, during the lunch break at the filming of the ‘Let Me’ video. Natalie did an interview.(Shout out to FASA TV, and the wonderful Rumel of Rumel Make Up Artistry for the hook up, she says.) It was candid and informative. From the cutting of her locs to her own personal spiritual journey and the end of Floetry, she speaks openly about a little bit of practically everything.
