Dexter SirReal Jones’ works are  a visual party. He has this habit of taking everything (the model, the environment, the surrounding accessories, the fashion, the make-up, everything!) and juxtapositions it all in unconventional ways. He does it with a purposeful manner, creating Hip Hop interpretations of fashion and glamour, breaking the limits the status quo for those styles . His recognition of the the unique beauty of the Afrosensual is evident in his works and he has this uncanny ability of portraying it in ways we’ve never seen before.

Pangea has a new voice today: Fashion & Glamour Naturalle. It’s past time that there was a place in the Garden that focused specifically on the art and craft of Afrosensuality-made-FABULOUS. And Fashion & Glamour of the Afrosensual are not new concepts here. With this Garden Voice, however, they now have a home. In time, there will be a few retrospectives of past features (like the works of Brad Mitchell, for instance) that will make there way into this part of the part and  we  will feature some works from the other photographers,  showing a whole different perspective to vision.

But what better way to kick off this new chapter, then with the works of SirReal. His unique and clear vision breaks conventions and redefines the art form of Fashion & Glamour Photography. SirReal redefines beauty. Isn’t that what we do here in Pangea’s Garden?
