pgp280: Pangea’s Meet & Greets….

It’s not unusual for people to express an interest in cultivating the Garden nor is it atypical for those of here to reach out. We want everyone interested to join us and we actively seek out folks whose works and activities would be great features here. In the Atlanta, we had a couple of informal get-togethers. We called them Pangea Meet & Greets and we were able to find a couple of unique locales to host these gatherings, this summer. One of the locations is a beautiful waterfall that I did not know about but earthSista SUCCESS, Pangea’s Fitness Guru, discovered. The other is the area surrounding WillowBMedia’s studio; WillowBMedia is the creative brainchild of photographer Bobby Williams who has an avid interest in capturing the beauty of black women.

Photographers, jewelry and garment designers, several potential earthSistas and earthBrothas attended. It was great and I was reminded of the of the broadness of this Project’s vision; the fact that its more than one perspective, more than one vision and there are various facets that cultivate the sensuous beauty of afrocentricity.

The intention was for everyone to network and consider working together on creative projects. Whether that actually happens is still up in the air. But as you can see the Meet & Greets did become creative projects of their own. This is a collection of Behind-The-Scenes images from the gatherings. Look for images from the photographers soon.

More contributors, more visions, more voices… Pangea’s Garden is growing. As a result, this labor of love requires a great deal of time and expense.
