About an hour before midnight on Saturday, Our Place Cafe in College Park, GA will open its doors for Midnight Erotica, An Evening Of Black Erotic Art, Poetry And Film. From what we have been told there will be rose petals on the floor, a live model being body-painted at the show, balloons, chocolate treats and other aphrodaisiac foods. Although this is a first appearance for the Garden (several Garden images are a part of the show) this event has been going on since 2004 and recently has become popular to be a biannual event recurring, roughly, every six months. And while its venues have been in different locations, it home is the metro Atlanta area.
