If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a big music lover, as I’m sure most of you are. I stumbled upon a couple of videos today that I thoroughly enjoyed, and I’ve decided to share them with you. Soundcheck is a regular feature here in the Garden, where we discuss and share our favorite music. If you’ve got something that you’d like for us to share in Soundcheck, email me.

The first video is by Jamie Woon, a new artist from across the pond. Don’t let the look fool you, Jamie’s got soul for days. His voice is unique and the production is fresh and head-nod inducing. Here’s the video for “Lady Luck” from his upcoming debut album. Get into it:

The next video is several months old, and as a self-proclaimed Bilal stan, I need to be ashamed that I am just now seeing it. “Robots” is one of my favorite songs from his latest album, and the video is a perfect match. It’s funky, progressive, and weird. Just like Bilal. Enjoy:

I’m loving both videos! Jamie’s voice is awesome and Bilal…what more can I say about him. I adore him and Mikael Colombu is a beast with creating videos. Thanks so much for sharing, Sunset! 🙂
