If I had to think of someway to express myself, I would say that I’m true to my sign, Aquarius; constantly moving and always eccentric…
I did this shoot because I adore what we are doing in Pangea’s Garden with these images of black women in the raw. Natural, of course, is the best way to go! I would hope to do something with water in future shoots. How biased, right?-Jass
Jass was curious and open and she wanted to explore. Even though it was only supposed to be momentary shoot Jass was eager to find her style, her personal afrosensual aesthetic. We played with various look and styles and poses. I love playing with the light, finding different way to all on her. Jass’ looks were thoughtful, provocative and dramatic. She was also playful and teasing to the camera. She was “constantly moving and always eccentric.” Coy but not afraid to step out of the comfort zone of a colonized mind, she inspired me. I look forward to shooting with her again; hopefully in the waters of the Garden.-Vincent
