“We wanted to create a story as a piece of art, using well-designed clothing and conceptual visuals pleasing to the eye.”
In a photo feature for Yen Magazine, photographer Rene Carter worked with 20-year old Kenyan model Yaya Deng to create images with a festive floral concept that is nothing short of amazing. Working with stylist Lucy Edmonds and Hair & Makeup Artist Jessica Diez, the team employed fashions and accessories from brands such as Dries Van Noten, Rebecca Liston, Bernhard Willhelm, Venice, Garth Cook and Duvenage to make this happen. The fashion site scarlet bodega called the captures “a perfect mix of world traveller and festival chic.” What do you think?
