I met SII at a party and was immediately drawn to her.
On a whim we made a plan to meet up at Pangea’s Studio and do a photo shoot to promote Pangea’s Butta (a line of premium whipped shay butters.) Along the way I found out that she’s songstress who has seen her share of joys and sorrows in a few short years. As an artist, SII has come to allow her tribulations to be her inspirations, never limited by the dramas before her. Her music is her lifeline. The young songwriter/vocalist is part of an up-and-coming team of creative collaborators who are defining their voice in today’s music scene as you can see in the video in this feature.
Pangea’s doing some reorganizing for 2021. So while our Pangea Butta business is on hiatus for the time being, I thought I’d share the moments from that shoot as I was thinking of her and her music today. Thinking about what’s next for her.

in·ter·lude | ˈin(t)ərˌlo͞od | noun 1 an intervening period of time. 2 a temporary amusement or source of entertainment that contrasts with what goes before or after.
An Interlude in the Garden is a momentary collection of casual captures. They are informal and open and sometimes intimate. Interludes can be spontaneous; they can be exploratory. An Interlude can be an icebreaker, where photographer and muse get to know each other. While kicking it in the studio, Vincent and Sii collaborated and created this.
Beautiful.

Sii
Born in Beaufort (St.Helena Island representaaaahhh),South Carolina, raised in Georgia and currently residing in California, the talents of vocalist “Sii” is just as diverse as her upbringing. She’s been blessed with an extraordinary combination of urban sophistication and eclectic soulfulness that has resulted in a cool, poised vocal approach. As a singer, songwriter and producer of immense passion, her recordings convey a spectrum of emotions that also tackle a wide range of material. While creating music has always been a labor of love, some of her songs were birthed through pain, however she bravely turned them into anthems of power and purpose.
