“Puff puff pass”
Sometimes there’s an intimacy in the act of sharing a joint. A chemistry born between friends who become more as they explore the bliss of that comes from, finally, not being afraid of letting go. They sat close, passing the joint back and forth while listening to music. Stress pass with each puff and they become less tense and more playful. JOY and Jabari discover that the trust and laughter they’ve shared, casually, in the past could go deeper and that their attraction, that had spun out momentary flirtations, might have deeper sacral origins.
Puff… puff… pass.

An Interlude in the Garden is a momentary collection of casual captures. They are informal and open and sometimes intimate. Interludes can be spontaneous; they can be exploratory. An Interlude can be an icebreaker, where photographer and muse get to know each other. In the moments before a photoshoot, these images were captured by Pangea’s Gardener as earthSista DenovaJOY and earthBrotha Jabari, laughed and reveled in the bond they shared at the time. It was a warm-up session prior the could creating one of the most intense scenes in Pangea’s Garden.
