When it comes to this experience with this shoot, it captured absolutely every essence of who I am. It was nerdy, humorous, and sexy. Anyone who knows me personally would agree. I overall enjoyed this experience because it gave me a chance to be 100% myself. This has always been difficult for me to do growing up with much scrutiny, but I’m overall glad to use my body as a voice to speak out for many who may be too shy to.

Quiet, elegant, a bit demure at first, but more than eager to get the perfect shot; Denova denotes air of quiet complexity and strength. Her eyes are bright and wild and surprising in their intensity once relaxed in front of the camera. She’s a hint of a young Angela Bassett; a riddle, a darling, a force of nature and will not go unnoticed. Denova is a lady you work to get to know. But, damn, when you get in that soul, when she allows you to really see her beauty, it’s worth all the effort. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have photographed her and look forward to watching her bloom in the Garden.
