The Last Sunday Social of 2022 was in November; not December. I’d attended a couple of times before and did not want to miss this one. I didn’t to miss out on an opportunity to share this experience with the Garden.
The Last Sunday Social event started in June of 2020. It is the brainchild of Ebony Dowdy, MHS who had a “vision of community sustainability through increasing self-pleasure, touch & intimacy awareness. Aligned Collaborations are the Soul of Last Sunday Social. The experience has always taken place around early midday comes together to commune over a delicious Brunch, an infused Elixir tasting with Ǝther. Elevated Elixirs, Tantric Touch Sessions, Pleasure Demonstrations, Music, Energy Readings, a Photo Booth, and a Cuddle Space.”
It can be said that more experiences like this are needed. Social gatherings that have the intent of nurturing opportunities of authentic intimacy may be what’s necessary to breakdown the inhibitive disfunction that plague our culture today. It’s definitely a joyful, communal experience that that is uneasy and provocative. It’s also arousing and inspiring. It’s Afrosensual and healing. It’s elevating.
I hope the moments I share here do justice to the experience.
